Several dozen women gathered at the Rumson home of Family & Children's Service Board member Susan Sorokolit on Monday, April 11, for coffee and conversation. The women were guests of Susan and fellow FCS supporter Patty DeFabio, who are serving as co-chairs of FCS's 2011 Fall Gala, "Under a Tuscan Mooon," set for Saturday, October 29 at Deal Country Club. FCS President & CEO Vincent D'Elia and Board President Dolores Klein were also on hand to give guests a brief outline of the agency's century-old history and its dozen outreach programs in operation today.

Gala co-chairs Patty DeFabio and Susan Sorokolit discuss the variety of ways volunteers could assist with this year's Fall Gala, "Under a Tuscan Moon."
This year's Fall Gala honorees, long-standing Board members Lee Weber and B.J. Thompson. Collectively, the two women have given more than 90 years of service to the agency.
Mothers from Rumson Country Day School along with other interested women gathered to learn more about FCS. The agency will honor the school this year for its tremendous contributions to Operation Sleighbells and other FCS programs.
FCS Board member Nina Riccio with Dolores Klein, Chair of the FCS Board of Directors. The two will co-chair the gala's decoration committee.
Wendy Campolattaro and Dena Reger, co-chairs of the Fall Gala's sponsorship and underwriting committee, with FCS President & CEO Vincent D'Elia. Dena is also a member of FCS's Board of Directors.
Rumson Country Day School mothers were excited to learn that nearly a quarter of the donations to this year's Operation Sleighbells holiday giving program came from RCDS students.
